JobResponsibilitiesStrategy Own solution design for multiple initiatives, works acrossdomain to ensure cohesive solutions, identify gaps in thearchitecture and solution designs, and assess and defineremediation efforts or mitigation options. Work toward practical solutions considering all teams,initiatives, and long-term outlook by implementing decisionsimproving quality, efficiency to achieve revenue, profitability andstrategic goals for the organization. Connect business strategies to technology domains for delivery,maximising well-defined structure of T-Mobile business processes,products and capabilities.

Innovation and Leadership Lead overall end-to-end solution design, ensure quality,consistency, and alignment of designs to TMUS standards and ITstrategy. Lead large initiatives and apply IT standards to developsolution architecture, drive technical strategy and architecturaltradeoff discussions. Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of how people,processes, and technology interact to perform the fundamentalactivities of the business in both current and future state, andmodel these interactions to guide technology strategy to betterachieve business outcomes. Works multi-functionally to understand the linkage betweenT-Mobile’s business goals, business architecture, and requirementsframeworks. Compile, deliver, and promote end-to-end technology roadmapsthat guide the evolution of infrastructure, products, and servicesby applying depth and breadth of expertise in multiple relatedsubject areas. Mentor team members on standard processes in area of expertise.

Grasp and communicate big-picture enterprise-wide issues toteam.

Technology and System Compile, develop, and deliver architectural guardrails;influence partners and ensure compliance with architecturalguardrails within many technology domains that support the needs ofproducts teams to reliably launch products and services. Lead technical solutions on cross domain initiatives. Developsinnovative solutions and technology strategy. Owns E2E solutiondesign strategy across teams. Prepare and maintain design work including architecturediagrams, data models, and API / micro-service architecture whilesupporting the definition and adoption of common softwaredevelopment processes. Write clear documentation describing architecture, designstrategies, standards, technical specifications, business benefits,opportunities and threats to craft executive and externalmaterials, including white papers.

Relationship and ProjectManagement Collaborate with Senior management to build and align solutionsand translate business requirements into technical requirementssystem analysts and other technical team members drive projectdesign and delivery. Apply a broad understanding of the products, systems andtechnologies across the business portfolio and deep technicalability on integration of these components to deliver a cohesiveE2E solution architecture for a given initiative.

BusinessArchitecture Apply a structured business architecture approach andmethodology for capturing the key views of the business unit in thecontext of the enterprise. Enable consistent definition and composition of scope by domainproduct, process, experience or capability. Identify impacts and competing interests across alldomains. Apply and uses business modeling methods to ensureresults-oriented work that can be maximised and reused as acorporate knowledge resource available to project-level initiativesand executive decision making. Review and assess work for coordination, completeness andintegration with broader enterprise architecture vision. Ensure that documentation is collected, categorized andavailable to the team for reuse as appropriate in differentprojects.

Work Experience 7+ yrs validated experience in software engineering/enterprisearchitecture/technology leadership across multiple products,systems and/or platforms coupled with strong eye for business andexecutive presence. (Required) 7+ yrs validated experience working in solutions design andenterprise architecture delivering IT solutions. (Required) 7+ yrs validated experience in Enterprise applications, PLM(product lifecycle management), middle-tier services, database,storage, distributed computing, virtualization and/or applicationtechnology. Corporate Bonus Target:

20%The pay range aboveis the general base pay range for a successful candidate in therole. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based onvarious factors, such as work location, qualifications, andexperience, so the actual starting pay will vary within thisrange.
