Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Python Developer for a remote role to join the FAB Marketplace team, a platform that supports the discovery, purchase, and sharing of digital assets for content creation tools such as Unreal Engine, Unity 3D, and UEFN. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of development experience and a strong background in building scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, and cloud-integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Django to support frontend and backend services.
Implement advanced search and analytics capabilities using OpenSearch (or ElasticSearch).
Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Ensure seamless integration between frontend components and backend APIs.
Begin with maintenance tasks to understand the platform, then transition to developing new features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development with business goals.
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to improving team efficiency over time.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
10+ years of professional software development experience.
Can work Remotely
Proficiency in Python and Django.
Experience with React and TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of AWS services including SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.
Experience with PostgreSQL and OpenSearch (or ElasticSearch).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AWS RDS or Aurora.
Familiarity with UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite).
Background in 3D, gaming, or e-commerce platforms.
Experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
