Job Description:

This position involves working on multiple new Java development initiatives.
These projects require senior-level Java professionals with comprehensive experience across the software development life cycle. Candidates must be capable of meeting project deadlines by understanding and analyzing requirements, designing, developing, and testing solutions. Responsibilities include submitting program and design work for review, leading code reviews, maintaining existing code, and developing new production-ready code.
Successful candidates will mentor junior developers, troubleshoot technical issues, and stay current with industry trends and technologies. Strong architectural experience and integration of disparate systems are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide design leadership for large or complex Java development projects, including new applications and enhancements.
Participate in project meetings with technical teams, business owners, and subject matter experts.
Define best practices and coding standards in collaboration with other technical leads.
Conduct design reviews to ensure alignment with design and coding standards.
Produce technical documentation including architecture diagrams, data flows, and specifications.
Develop custom Java applications from specifications or within an Agile team.
Guide and mentor junior developers on technical tasks and problem-solving.

Required Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of IT experience.
Strong experience in Core Java; C# knowledge is a plus.
Deep experience with Java development frameworks (Struts, Spring, Hibernate).
Knowledge of J2EE, SOA, middleware, and integration technologies.
Proficiency with JSP, JSTL, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, JAXB, Maven, log4j, and JUnit.
Experience with JavaScript and frameworks like JQuery and DOJO.
Proficient in XML technologies (XSD, XPath, XQuery, XSLT).
Experience developing and configuring Web Services (SOAP, REST, WSDL).
Familiarity with single sign-on solutions and integration.
Proficient with REST APIs, Spring Boot, Netflix OSS, Zuul, Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience in a CI/CD environment.
Must have hands-on experience with AngularJS 2 or later.
Capable of building reusable and testable modules and components in AngularJS.
Strong organizational, self-starting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to deliver high-quality results independently and in a team.
Skilled in technical writing and documentation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
Experience in full-stack development and understanding of application delivery across multi-platform environments.
Familiarity with SDLC and software testing methodologies.
