Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java (primary) and Python (additional) programming languages
Utilize data structures and algorithms to optimize application performance and scalability
Work with database technologies such as MySQL and DynamoDB to store and retrieve data efficiently
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions
Apply Agile software development methodologies to ensure iterative and incremental development
Implement DevOps practices and tools such as GIT and Jenkins to automate software delivery pipelines
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Work with AWS Services (S3, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Athena, EKS, API gateway)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
6+ years of experience in software development using Java and Python programming languages
Strong knowledge of Java languages and related technologies
Working knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL and DynamoDB
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as GIT and Jenkins
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good teamwork and communication skills
Experience working with AWS Services (S3, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Athena, EKS, API gateway)
