Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a QA Tester with strong experience in Appian to join our team in a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on testing experience in low-code platforms
, particularly Appian BPM applications, and should be capable of working in fast-paced, Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute manual and automated test cases for Appian-based applications
.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
.
Identify, log, and track bugs using standard defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Validate business rules, process flows, and UI elements within Appian apps.
Assist with performance testing and test data management
.
Prepare and maintain test documentation and QA reports.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of QA Testing experience.
1+ year of experience testing Appian applications
.
Solid understanding of BPM/workflow testing
.
Strong knowledge of
SDLC, STLC
, and Agile methodologies.
Experience with JIRA
, TestRail
, or other test management tools.
Familiarity with Appian SAIL interfaces
, Appian designer objects
, and process models is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
Appian Certification (Designer or higher)
Experience in API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
Basic understanding of SQL and database validation
Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Appian FIT test framework, etc.)
