Embedded Software Engineer – Automotive Systems
Location:
Hybrid – Peachtree City, GA (2-3 days onsite per week)

We are looking for a senior-level Embedded Software Engineer to join a dynamic team developing cutting-edge in-vehicle systems. This role focuses on infotainment, HMI, and communication modules, offering the opportunity to work on next-generation automotive technology in collaboration with global and Japanese OEMs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop embedded software in C/C++ for ECUs related to infotainment and HMI systems
Lead module- and system-level integration efforts across Bluetooth, CAN, Ethernet, and other protocols
Develop and document software architecture following automotive industry standards
Perform unit and integration testing and support system validation including drive testing
Communicate directly with Japanese OEMs to manage software requirements and reporting in both English and Japanese
Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization for safety-critical applications
Collaborate with hardware, systems, QA, and project management teams
Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership to offshore development teams
Qualifications
Extensive experience in embedded automotive software development
Strong skills in C, C++, RTOS, microcontrollers, and embedded Linux
Experience with CAN tools (e.g., Vector CANoe, CANalyzer) and version control systems (Git, SVN)
Proficient in CI/CD, Docker, DevOps, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
Solid knowledge of UDS protocols and automotive diagnostic systems
Experience in multimedia log analysis, OCR, or computer vision technologies is a plus
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
Nice to Have
Advanced Japanese language skills
