Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Legacy Developer with deep expertise in Natural and Adabas to support our mainframe systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in legacy environments including JCL, Software AG tools
, and IBM mainframe technologies
. This role is onsite in Atlanta, GA and will support the analysis, development, and maintenance of business-critical legacy applications.

Must-Have Skillsets:

5+ years of hands-on experience with Natural and Adabas (syntax, statements, procedural programming) 5+ years in coding/debugging Natural programs and maps using Software AG s editors and utilities 3+ years of experience with JCL (executing programs, creating files, evaluating condition codes) 2+ years of experience with IBM MQ Series and

COM-PLETE/CICS

(preferred) 2+ years working with RACF Security
, IBM Passticket
, and MVS Console Operations
(preferred)

Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, code, test, and implement IT solutions using appropriate SDLC methods
Develop and support legacy systems based on core technologies
Work on upgrades, enhancements, and conversions for business applications
Use debugging and diagnostic tools to resolve technical issues
Interact with business users to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
Apply specialized knowledge in areas like legacy evolution
, cross-discipline functions
, and system integration

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Mainframe modernization or legacy migration projects
Familiarity with enterprise financial, HR, or operational systems
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently in an onsite environment

Location & Work Arrangement:

100% Onsite in Atlanta, GA (no remote option)
Local or nearby state candidates preferred (GA, AL, TN, SC, NC, FL)
