Job Description
We are seeking a talented Developer with a focus on legacy systems to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on modernizing critical applications while utilizing your expertise in COBOL and related technologies. Responsibilities Analyze, design, and implement business and technical solutions using appropriate software development methodologies. Construct, test, and deploy portions of technology solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and technical contexts. Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and conversions, applying specialized knowledge in relevant disciplines. Utilize tools to identify and resolve technical issues effectively. Skills 2-6 years of experience in software development, particularly with COBOL. Proficiency in relational databases, preferably Oracle. Strong understanding of Unix operating systems. Familiarity with SOAP or REST APIs using
XML/JSON.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Skills Experience with C programming and cloud technologies such as AWS. Knowledge of modern software development practices and tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
