Contract
Java/Angular Developer Exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact! As a part of our talented and innovative iTEAMS team, you will take part in the development of cutting-edge web applications solving challenging business needs. You will be building solutions from the ground up, starting with investigating design approaches, prototyping new solutions, and evaluating technical feasibility. You will be responsible for all aspects of development including design, development, testing, and maintenance of key systems. You will work in a dynamic environment to deliver a forward-looking user experience while maintaining high-quality software. Development responsibilities include overall application design and development of critical application components using Angular and Java.

Responsibilities:

Deliver innovative, engaging web applications using the latest software technologies.
Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment.
Work with business partners and outside vendors to collect and confirm project business requirements.
Collaborate closely with the Product Owners / Scrum Masters / Development teams and stakeholders.
Identify design problems and devise solid technical solutions.
Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to industry best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate closely with the PM / Architects / BAs.
Thoroughly understand the requirements and ability to develop detailed software designs.
Continuously improve and enforce best practices, coding, and UI/UX standards
Use best practices and coding standards.
Participate in peer-reviews and provide feedback.
Provide accurate and detailed weekly task reports.
Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, enhance, and document components develop by self and others as per the requirements and detailed design.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers
Manage CI/CD pipeline and deployment
Rotating On Call Production Support
This is a 6+ month contract with potential of extension. This position is hybrid working 3 days in office in Midtown, Atlanta. This is a great opportunity to work within an enterprise environment, flexible work hours, and great work life balance.

REQUIRED SKILLS

6+ years of work experience with Java and Angular (TypeScript) technologies.
Strong knowledge of Java, including data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures.
Deep understanding of Angular 12 or newer.
Deep understanding of web services software architecture and design (REST/SOAP), including security-based implementations.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript and front-end frameworks.
Experience with data modeling and database programming skills (MS SQL Server).
Working experience with agile methodologies (Scrum).
Working knowledge of continuous integration tools: Jenkins, Nexus, JUnit, Selenium, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, Ant, SVN, GIT, Puppet, Chef.
Working experience with RedHat OpenShift environment or other containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
Desire to work in an information systems environment.
Strong tenure

Preferred:

Working knowledge with Tricentis – Tosca and or qTest (test automation).
Familiarity with infrastructure systems (servers, systems administration, and unix/linux scripting skills) a plus.
.NET Development Experience is plus
