Job description Infosys is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer
This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the build and deployment of applications for large business systems; create deployment scripts, configure build tools, configure pipelines and support the CI/CD process. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to rmend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant applicationponents, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases. Candidate must be located withinmuting distance of Plano TX, Charlotte NC or Atlanta GA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in Jenkins/Git/Bitbucket/Ansible/XLR.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 4 to 8 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
Experience in continuous integration Tools & technology.
Experience working on in any one of Perforce/Nexus, urbancode Platform (UBuild, UDeploy, URelease).
Experience on version control tools like Perforce, Subversion, Microsoft Team foundation server (TFS) etc.
Experience working on deployment tools such as Jenkins/Git/Bitbucket/ansible/XLR.
Basic knowledge on the Linuxmands – viewing system processes, understanding of users/groups/permissions, viewing files and file transfer.
Should have worked on build tools (Maven, ANT etc) and triage the build issues.
Good working knowledge on Code Quality (JUnit, SONAR etc).
Basic knowledge on Code review tools (Crucible, Smartbear.. etc).
Excellentmunication skills to work with global Teams.
Experience in banking and finance domain.
Experience working in agile teams.
The job entails sitting as well as working at aputer for extended periods of time. Should be able tomunicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
