The NCR Voyix Restaurant Back Office team is focused on building the next generation of software for restaurants of all sizes to manage their business by optimizing labor and inventory as well as providing real-time insights into their business. Restaurant operators need to spend their valuable time managing customer relationships and providing a unique restaurant experience. NCR Voyix will handle providing actionable, predictive information to improve profitability and overall customer experience. NCR Voyix owns the restaurant software industry with more restaurants deployed than any other provider and is uniquely positioned to drive this change in the restaurant business. As an engineer on the NCR Voyix Restaurant Back Office team, you will collaborate with a team of talented individuals to create a modern experience into improved profitability and customer experience for restaurant operators. You’ll do it in a manner that is cloud-native, API-first, and powered by AI/ML models – all the technologies and patterns that will put you and NCR Voyix at the leading edge of restaurant technology. RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Development Efforts:

Oversee the development and implementation of the application, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Code Quality:

Ensure high standards of code quality, including code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.

Project Management:

Collaborate with product owners, project managers and business stakeholders to track progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep the project on schedule.

Architecture Design:

Design and implement scalable and maintainable software architecture

Database Management:

Oversee database design, optimization, and maintenance using SQL and Postgres.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 6 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. Proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS(NestJS), React, native public cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure), and SQL 4+ Year(s) JavaScript/TypeScript 4+ Year(s) React 4+ Year(s) SQL 2+ Year(s) experience creating solutions in native public cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure) Strong understanding of API design and microservices architecture Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
