We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer III to join our team on a contract basis in Alpharetta, GA. In this role, you will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced Microsoft 365 (M365) solutions to enhance business productivity and ensure system reliability. This opportunity allows you to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the success of a global IT infrastructure.

Job Overview:
The M365 Engineer will be an integral part of the IT team, designing, implementing, and maintaining the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. The role involves working with various cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of M365 services, enhancing productivity, and contributing to a robust global IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement advanced M365 solutions (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Security & Compliance features).
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver scalable, efficient M365 solutions.
Lead M365 migrations and upgrades while minimizing impact on end-users and operations.
Provide third-level support for M365 incidents, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing system stability and security.
Stay current with industry trends, Microsoft 365 updates, and emerging technologies to recommend and apply improvements.
Experience and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Microsoft Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365
Certified:
Messaging Administrator Associate (preferred).
Experience Requirements:
3-5 years of demonstrated experience working with Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments (design and implementation focus).
Expertise in configuring and managing M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills, particularly in a DevOps-related context.
Experience executing M365 migration projects and managing complex hybrid environments.
Technical Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of M365 security and compliance.
Strong proficiency with Active Directory (AD), Entra ID, and hybrid AD architectures.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
Ability to handle major incidents, manage stakeholders, and maintain composure in high-stakes situations.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
Microsoft Certified:
Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
Familiarity with third-party M365 management tools.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
Experience with scripting repositories like GitHub.
Proficiency in Power BI for generating reports and data analysis.
Understanding of regulatory compliance standards in the industry.
