8-10 year s development/enhancement experience. Good Knowledge of MF-COBOL, JCL, Sort/cosort, Unix, Unix Shell scripting, Subversion, or similar code repository Knowledge of database- Oracle, DB2, etc and SQL Knowledge of MQ Series, XML, CICS etc. is an added advantage Understand, functional and technical requirements of software programs/modules Develop and document optimal codes for complex program requirements Develop codes for assigned unit of work/requirements within a program/module functional & nonfunctional Ensure delivery of defect free codes to the next level or review/ QA team Possess strong understanding of coding best practices. Adhere to timelines and processes while developing and documenting codes Ensure compliance to pre-defined coding best practices to meet quality and timelines of delivery Knowledge of release management processes. Good communication and problem-solving skills Knowledge of Agile methodologies (KANBAN, Scrum).
