We are seeking a Mainframe System Programmer with strong proficiency in z/OS system administration, SMPE , and
IBM/BMC/ISV
product lifecycle management . The ideal candidate will perform installation, upgrade, tuning , and disaster recovery planning in high-availability mainframe environments, while also contributing to security, automation, and language runtime support.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, upgrade, and maintain z/OS and associated
IBM/BMC/ISV
software products Utilize SMPE for software packaging, patching, and version control Administer RACF and related security tools Manage system initialization, tuning , and performance optimization Operate within SYSPLEX environments , ensuring stability and scalability Work with components such as JES, PARMLIB, USS, and Coupling Facility Use HCD and IODF for hardware configuration and management Execute and support Disaster Recovery (DR) processes Maintain storage management strategies using DFSMS Support compiler/runtime environments for PL/I, COBOL, Assembler, REXX, Java for z/OS, Node.js, and Python for z/
