Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Scala Developer with strong Spark experience to join our data engineering team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and optimizing large-scale data processing pipelines.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in Scala programming
Proficiency in Apache Spark (Core & SQL)
Experience with Hadoop ecosystem, Hive, or Kafka is a plus
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is desirable
Solid understanding of functional programming and distributed systems
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to
Have:
Experience with Airflow, Databricks, or Snowflake
Background in data lake architecture or real-time streaming
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 10+ years of software/data engineering experience
