About the opportunityNorthspyre is lookingfor a Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-growing,venture-backed start-up team. This is an opportunity to make a hugeimpact at a start-up disrupting the 10.5 trillion dollar realestate industry. We are a lean organization with minimal red-tapethat prides itself on getting things done efficiently andeffectively.

We are looking for an experienced engineer to take partin the product development and deployment lifecycle and help tobuild out critical integrations to our platform. As part of oursmall team of developers, you’ll collaborate with everyone onbuilding out the team, process, & tech stack as we work on growingboth our team, business and technology.

In this role, you’ll getto: Design, develop, and maintain integration flows from our coreapplication to third party services using an array of differentAPIs. Collaborate and review code with other developers inengineering to ensure each integration maintains a consistent levelof technical standards as set by the team. Work directly with Customer Success to ensure that theintegrations meet the needs of our customers. Troubleshoot, identify, and fix any issues that arise duringcustomer integration. Design and build elegant and user-friendly UIs end-to-end. Ensure site reliability and troubleshoot productionissues. Collaborate with Customer Support and Product teams to handleclient requests and build new features and products. Lead, mentor and guide less experienced engineers. Participate in designing and building systems for maximumperformance, reliability and scalability.

We are looking for peoplewho have: 5+ years of industry experience writing high-quality code in acollaborative environment. 3+ years of Python development experience. Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design,data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexityanalysis. Knowledge and experience in front-end technologies andframeworks like React, Webpack and NPM. Experience designing and building REST endpoints. Knowledge and experience in web frameworks likeFlask/Django. Experience/familiarity with AWS and/or other cloudtechnologies. Experience/familiarity with Relational Databases likePostgres. Experience/familiarity with Unix/Linux environments. An understanding of design for scalability, performance andreliability. Self-motivated and proactive, able to take ownership anddeliver results. Eagerness to learn new practices and technologies that willimprove our overall architecture. Excellent communication skills and ability to effectivelycommunicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. BS or MS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field ofstudy or equivalent practical experience and 5+ years ofexperience.

Bonus points if you have: Desire to mentor software engineers in all aspects of theirengineering skill-sets. Experience/familiarity with AWS and/or other cloudtechnologies. Strong understanding of Scrum/Agile/Kanban.
