Outcomesand Activities:
This position will work from home; occasionalplanned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan office locationmay be required. However, this position is permitted to work at aSouthfield, Michigan office location if requested by the teammember Design and develop software and improve existing code tomake it more efficient to detect bugs in the code Write unit-testsand validate your software against acceptance criteria Author,apply and advocate for team coding, documenting and testingstandards Conduct impact analysis to proactively identify impact ofa change across multiple applications Learn the business processdomain to better support the business Experiment and test ideas,validate assumptions against needs, reach conclusions and recommendsolutions Lead code reviews and communicate application changesDocument code and projects so others can easily understand,maintain and support Debug the problems which arise in productionand propose effective solutions within the application and acrossmultiple applications Read, write and review design documentsContribute to team’s sprint commitments and actively participate inour Agile practices Lead continuous learning activities to improvedesign and code quality as well as to increase application domainknowledge Participate in the talent selection process Guide andreview the code, designs and documentation of less experiencedsoftware engineers

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, orclosely related field of study; or equivalent work experienceMinimum 5 years of software engineering experience or comparabledepth of experience Minimum 2 years developing web frontends Strongunderstanding and use of one or more object-oriented programminglanguages and design patterns In-depth usage and creation ofapplication programming interfaces (API) and frameworks in theirparticular field: JSON, Rest/SOAP based Web Services, JUnit, andJest Experience using CI/CD technologies such as GitHub, GitHubActions, Docker, and Kubernetes Practical experience in SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile/SCRUM and WaterfallPractical experience in data modeling, design and messagingExperience working on mission-critical enterprise classapplications Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor lessexperienced team members Willingness to participate in an on-callrotation
Preferred:
Experience in the lead role overseeingtechnical direction of a team of software engineering talentExperience developing using React and Spring Boot Advancedunderstanding of IDEs, have the ability to navigate through themquickly and leverage advanced features to improve your performanceExperience in API security, analytics, throttling, caching,logging, request and response modifications Experience in creating
REST API
documentation using Swagger or similar tools desirableAbility to use DDL to create database objects and relationships,construct advanced queries, and optimize query performanceFinancial services industry experience

Target Compensation :
A competitivebase salary range from $130,047 – $190,736. This position iseligible for an annual variable cash bonus, between 7.5 – 15%.Final compensation within the range is influenced by many factorsincluding role-specific skills, depth and experience level,industry background, relevant education and certifications.
Candidates who reside in the following major metropolitan areas maybe eligible for a premium on top of the posted range based on theirspecific zone: San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, New York City, LosAngeles and San Diego.
