Job Description
Job Duties:
Software Engineer in Test II with GreenSky Management Company LLC in Atlanta, GA. Telecommuting permitted. Analysis, design, implementation, and unit testing to produce high-quality code. Design and develop automated testing tools to drive a unified manual and automated test strategy. Performs product design activities which may require research and analysis. Designs and implements new software as well as maintains and enhances existing software. Able to decompose requirements into tasks and provide estimates for those tasks. Ensures that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security and performance. Effectively functions and communicates within a software development team consisting of developers, quality assurance, and product and project management members. Expected to mentor associate software developers and continually contribute to process improvement activities. Partner with feature developers and other SDETs to build the tools and infrastructure to ensure our code is thoroughly tested to the highest standards. Interface with the Performance and Scalability team to ensure that performance and scalability is an integral component of all test strategies and project plans. QA methodology, Test automation framework, Software Design, Implementation (i.e. coding), and Testing, Database development, Experience optimizing performance of database server and queries. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills, Ability to think technically and analytically, assimilate information, distill knowledge, experience and provide solution.
Job Requirements:
Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related computational and analytical field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related computational and analytical field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years (with Master’s) OR five (5) years (with Bachelor’s) with the following: QA methodology; test automation framework; automation script; software design, implementation (i.e. coding), and testing; database development including experience optimizing performance of database server and queries; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems; and thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
