Responsibilities:
The Developer is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of business and technical IT solutions using appropriate software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Responsibilities vary slightly depending on the nature of the system:

Core Systems:
Involves development on foundational or enterprise platforms
- COTS Systems (Commercial Off-The-Shelf): Involves customization and integration of vendor-provided software solutions

Niche Technologies:
Involves development on specialized platforms such as eCommerce systems, Mobility, or TPF (Transaction Processing Facility).

Key Duties:
- Design, develop, test, and implement components of business and technical solutions using established SDLC practices
- Participate in solution implementations, system upgrades, enhancements, and data/system conversions
- Use appropriate tools and methods to analyze, identify, and resolve technical or business problems
- Apply specialized knowledge in areas such as system integration, cross-functional capabilities, knowledge engineering, or legacy modernization
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand technical requirements and business needs
- Define project scope, implementation plans, and deliverables
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of IT solutions involving multiple platforms and technologies
