Sr. Software Engineer Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

McKinsey and Company Inc. US is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA. As part of the Technology and Development (TandD) team, work with product managers, developers, architects, and various platform teams to design and develop software solutions. Work with various TandD product teams using a variety of technologies to ensure high application reliability, scalability, and availability. Responsible for the development, support, maintenance, and implementation of solutions on applications. Working on Migrating Applications from on-prem to AWS Cloud using several resources. Develop Application which focuses on managing engagement final documents using, Java/J2ee, Spring boot, JavaScript, AWS S3, Oracle. Work on internal tool that helps in storing final documents, built using Java Spring and APIs to make real time calls. Work on permanently storing document metadata into No SQL database. Actively help audience with the technical difficulties while uploading final docs within the firm. Work on Query builder, that fetches results from the APIs. Work on downstream integration of document upload or delete events to S3 using Lambda and Kafka. Diagnose and advise on complex software development problems, utilizing standard engineering concepts and principles. Serve as a member of the development team and plan and execute new processes. Build upon internal domain knowledge and technical proprietary skills. Respond to detailed development inquiries and work with the team to identify business requirements and translate requirements into technical specifications. Telecommuting permitted.

Qualified applicants for this position must possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or foreign degree equivalent. Qualified applicants for this position must have a minimum five (5) years of software development experience.

Experience must include:

developing applications using following technologies: Java, J2EE; using the following frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, MVC, Servlet, Struts, JUnit, JDBC, Apache Tomcat, Kafka and containers (Docker); knowledge of Web Services including REST API and SOAP; knowledge of relational databases including Oracle, SQL server and NoSQL database; working with cloud technologies like

AWS Cloud Services:
