The Boeing Company The Boeing Global Services organization is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Reliability & Maintainability Systems Engineer for an exciting opportunity with the C-17 Fleet Reliability & Analysis Team in Warner Robins, GA or San Antonio, TX. The C-17 platform is a mature airlifter for air forces of the United States and allied countries. This position plays an important role in ensuring that C-17 aircraft continue to be reliable and mission capable.

Position Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will perform reliability & maintainability (R&M) Systems Engineering responsibilities in support of our C-17 internal and external Air Force customers. Typical tasks include but not limited to the following: Review, correct, and analyze field maintenance and failure data Conduct root cause analysis and high driver analyses Perform component and system level reliability analyses for various aircraft systems such as Engine, APU, Fuel, Hydraulic, Avionics, Flight Controls, Structures, etc. Conduct failure analysis and trending analysis and recommend maintenance, operational or process changes to optimize aircraft systems reliability, maintainability, and availability Participate in Integrity Program Working Group Meetings, Maintenance Steering Group-3 Meetings, Crisis Management Team Meetings, Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Meetings, Deficiency Report Review Board Quarterly Meetings, Interface with customers and management at major design reviews to provide reliability findings and recommendations Provide inputs to proposals. Review subcontractor’s proposals for reliability program effectiveness Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 2+ years of experience in engineering or technical field Experience with aircraft systems Experience with Failure Mode Effects and Criticality analysis (FMECA) and root cause analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.) (Mid-Level) 5+ years of experience in engineering or technical field Experience with analyzing field data Experience in SQL, MS Access and databases Knowledge of C-17 aircraft

Summary Pay Range Associate (Level 2): $81,600- $110,400 Summary Pay Range Mid-Level (Level 3): $97,750- $132,250
