Anticipated SalaryRange:

$119,574.00 – $160,000.00. The salary range for this role isintended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location,expectations, and responsibilities. The idealcandidate will have strong working knowledge in Kubernetes andContainer Orchestration, Configuration Management, CI/CD,Automation, AWS, Linux systems administration, Scripting in Bashand Programming in Python, and a background in Big Data solutions.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementinginfrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring themonitoring, reliability and scalability of our services. Work isperformed in a hybrid environment (on average 2-3 days a week) witha great team on customer site in Augusta, GA. LI-KB2 Mid-Senior Level Essential Job ResponsibilitiesSupport development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWSSupport development and deployment of non-cloud (Edge)infrastructure of on-premise and portable equipment Automatedeployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability ofservices Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloudinfrastructure on AWS Collaborate with development teams tointegrate their applications into the infrastructure Monitor andtroubleshoot production systems and resolve issues as necessaryContinuously improve processes and tools to ensure highavailability and performance Stay current with new technologies andindustry trends, continuously exploring new ways to improve ourinfrastructure Other duties as assigned Minimum QualificationsSecurity Clearance – A current Secret U.S. Government Securityclearance is required; U.S. citizenship required. 9 years ofexperience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development andBachelors in related field; or 7 years relevant experience withMasters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and13 years relevant experience. Strong Knowledge of AWS services(EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and their application to deployment andmanagement of infrastructure. Proficient knowledge of Linux,including system administration and troubleshooting. Proficient inconfiguration management tools such as Terraform and AnsibleExperience with application, container, and OS deployment, scaling,and management. Ability to develop in multiple programminglanguages such as Python, Bash, or Go. Familiarity with Git, Flux,and other development and deployment tools. Excellentproblem-solving skills and the ability to identify and troubleshootcomplex issues Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Understanding of AGILE software development methodologies and useof standard software development tool suites Must have a DoD 8140 /8570 compliance certifications (i.e. Security) Must be able to workin a hybrid environment, on average 2-3 days per week in Augusta,GA. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes ifneeded. Preferred Requirements Experience with big datatechnologies like: Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive,Drill, Impala, Trino, Presto, etc. Experience with containers EKS,Diode, CI/CD, and Terraform are a plus Work could possibly requiresome on-call work.
