Anticipated SalaryRange:
$97,097.00 – $145,000.00. The salary range for this role isintended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location,expectations, and responsibilities. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible fordesigning, developing, and implementing complex softwarecapabilities for computer-based systems. Will work closely withother talented engineers to create software solutions that meet theneeds of our clients. This is a hybrid role with some onsitecustomer support in Augusta, GA, with occasional travel requiredboth within the continental U.S. (CONUS) and internationally(OCONUS). LI-KB2 Mid-Senior LevelEssential Job Responsibilities Must have a strong working knowledgeand experience developing Java based software capabilities. Shouldhave an inquisitive nature, responsiveness, and excellent testingskills. Must also possess strong troubleshooting skills and theability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines. Will workin a fast-paced, small business environment with our talented team.
Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Security Clearance- Current Secret level U.S. Government security clearance isrequired; U.S. Citizenship required. Can consider candidates with acurrent TS level clearance as well. At least 5 years of experiencein Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g.
Spring, Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevantexperience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma orequivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Experience in designingenterprise APIs. Experience in RESTful web services. Experience inMicroservices architecture. Experience in Object OrientedProgramming (OOP) paradigms. Experience with the agile softwarelifecycle. Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works wellboth independently as well as in a team setting. Experience withthe Linux operating system. Experience with configurationmanagement tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven). Strong communicationskills to interact with customers on a daily basis. DoD 8570compliance certification is required (i.e. Security). Must bewilling to travel CONUS and OCONUS about 10% of the time. Must beable to work on customer site in Augusta, GA 2-3 days a week.
Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
Preferred Requirements Experience with NiFi, Kafka, AWSInfrastructure, and K8’s. Experience in cloud based technologies(AWS, Azure). Experience in distributed databases, NoSQL databases,full text-search engines (e.g. Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr)Scripting experience is a huge plus. Prior experience orfamiliarity with our Big Data Platform is a plus. Understanding ofAGILE software development methodologies and use of standardsoftware development tool suites.
