Anticipated SalaryRange:
$119,574.00 – $175,000.00. The salary range for this role isintended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location,expectations, and responsibilities. LI-KB2Mid-Senior Level Essential Job Responsibilities Must have a strongworking knowledge and experience developing Java based softwarecapabilities. Should have an inquisitive nature, responsiveness,and excellent testing skills. Must also possess strongtroubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure withmultiple deadlines. Will work in a fast-paced, small businessenvironment with our talented team. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Security Clearance – Current Secret levelU.S. Government security clearance is required; U.S. Citizenshiprequired. Can consider candidates with a current TS level clearanceas well. At least 9 years of experience in Software Engineering,Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) and aBachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience withMasters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and13 years relevant experience. Experience in designing enterpriseAPIs. Experience in RESTful web services. Experience inMicroservices architecture. Experience in Object OrientedProgramming (OOP) paradigms. Experience with the agile softwarelifecycle. Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works wellboth independently as well as in a team setting. Experience withthe Linux operating system. Experience with configurationmanagement tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven). Strong communicationskills to interact with customers on a daily basis. DoD 8570compliance certification is required (i.e. Security). Must be ableto work on customer site in Augusta, GA 2-3 days a week.
Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
Preferred Requirements Experience with NiFi, Kafka, AWSInfrastructure, and K8’s. Experience in cloud based technologies(AWS, Azure). Experience in distributed databases, NoSQL databases,full text-search engines (e.g. Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr)Scripting experience is a huge plus. Prior experience orfamiliarity with our Big Data Platform is a plus. Understanding ofAGILE software development methodologies and use of standardsoftware development tool suites.
