Description:

A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Computer Science at Tulane University based in the historic Uptown New Orleans. The postdoctoral researcher will work with Dr. Ding’s group on developing novel algorithms for enabling more efficient and interpretable AI. The successful candidate will supervise and collaborate with graduate and undergraduate research assistants, collaborate with fellow scholars, and disseminate their work through publications and presentations. The position is initially for one year with an option for extension, subject to availability of funding. The start date for this position is ideally between November 2024 and January 2025.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or a related area. Demonstrated experience in one or several of the following areas: computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Excellent written communication skills demonstrated by prior publications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with deep learning, foundational AI models. .
