Bank Applications Specialist I Investar Bank National As 4004 Ambassador Caffery Parkway, Lafayette, LA 70503 Job Function – Provides help desk technology and application administration support bank wide. Performs software maintenance, installation, and configuration as well as printer/validator support. Performs and assists with IT and Compliance policy development and regulation compliance reporting, monitoring, and training bank wide. Monitors the security and integrity of data access to core banking applications. Job Responsibilities – Monitors and assists with help desk emails and phone calls regarding bank applications issues and application access. Works with employees to address and identify hardware or software issues. Uses remote-control and local-machine administrator access to address problems with all banking applications. Analyzes System Access issues and then performs repairs for minor to moderate problems with system software and all banking applications. Installs, reinstalls, and configures software components for applicable banking applications and authentication software. Performs, maintains, tracks, and verify all Employee Access forms for all employee access adds/changes/deletes for audit purposes. Set-ups, maintains and reviews all employee access in network and banking applications. Performs administration duties (reset passwords, add/change/delete) users from most banking applications Continuously corrects and updates all System Access policies and procedures for training, and audit purposes. Works closely with all third party vendors for bank application support and troubleshooting. (
Ex:
FIS, nCINO, Encompass, Loans PQ, etc) Monitors, performs, and tracks monthly/quarterly user access reports/rights logs for various banking applications for all departments bank wide for audit purposes. Creates, maintains, and updates system security documentation such as implementation procedures and user access rights for most bank applications. Monitors, reports, and tracks unnecessary user access permissions and exceptions for audit purposes. Ensures that own work as well the financial institution is in compliance with applicable regulations directly or through subordinates. Performs all other duties as assigned. Including but not limited to set-up, configure, update, and trouble shoot applications such as nCINO, Encompass, Loans PQ, Meridian Link, etc. Education and Related Experience – High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Three to five years previous banking experience preferred. Experience with application security and auditing preferred. Experience with software application installation and troubleshooting preferred Skills and Abilities – Must possess the ability to troubleshoot and have an understanding of the Microsoft Windows environment. Knowledge of most forms of computer hardware are necessary. Must possess skills in troubleshooting all bank software applications. Must possess knowledge of standard office and bank equipment including computer, fax machine, scanners, validators, and copy machines Must possess working knowledge of computers and computer operations, MS Office software, especially, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills Must possess good organizational skills Must possess ability to perform detailed tasks with accuracy Must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize Must possess an in-depth knowledge of banking structure and compliance regulations. Must possess the ability to constantly learn and adapt to the changes and challenges with servers, computers and technology. Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements – Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines. Ability to operate a keyboard if required performing the essential job functions. Ability to read and interpret software and hardware technical documents. Ability to travel if required performing the essential job functions. Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
