Contract Description:
The services You will provide the Client project team: As a Mobile Application Developer Contractor, you will develop and maintain mobile applications to meet client needs and enhance user experience. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for mobile applications. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of mobile applications to ensure functionality and performance. Implement user interface designs and ensure a seamless user experience. Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs. Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends and technologies.
Architectural Patterns:
Implement CLEAN architecture and adhere to SOLID principles to ensure modular, scalable, and maintainable codebases.
Design & Development:
Build and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
SDK Expertise:
Utilize your experience with the iOS SDK and Xcode to deliver polished, user-friendly apps.
SwiftUI Components:
Leverage SwiftUI and UIKit components for efficient UI design and application lifecycle management.
Data Persistence:
Utilize SQLite and SwiftData for effective data storage and retrieval.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, focusing on unit testing and UI testing to ensure high-quality code and stable apps.
Multi-Device Compatibility:
Develop apps that support both iPhone and iPad, ensuring optimal performance in both portrait and landscape orientations.
Multithreading:
Efficiently manage background tasks using appropriate multithreading techniques.
Memory Management:
Optimize memory usage through effective memory profiling and management practices.
Error Handling & Caching:
Implement robust error-handling mechanisms and caching strategies using NSCache and third-party libraries.
Networking:
Integrate with RESTful APIs and process JSON and XML data formats for smooth data transactions from remote sources.
Performance Optimization:
Profile and optimize performance using Instruments, focusing on memory and execution efficiency.
Version Control:
Collaborate using Git and tools like SourceTree for version control and code collaboration.
CI/CD Pipelines:
Set up continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like Azure or Jenkins to streamline the development process.
Third-party Libraries & APIs:
Integrate and manage third-party libraries and APIs to ensure seamless interaction with other platforms and services.
SDK & Framework Development:
Create reusable SDKs and frameworks for internal and external use.
Algorithms & Data Structures:
Implement and optimize algorithms and data structures to ensure efficient app performance.
Required Skills:
5+ years of hands-on experience in iOS development. Strong experience with Swift and SwiftUI. Proficiency in iOS SDK and Xcode. Experience with architectural patterns like CLEAN and SOLID principles. Expertise with SQLite and SwiftData for data management. Experience working with remote data sources via REST APIs and handling JSON and XML. Strong background in TDD, unit testing, and UI testing. Ability to handle multithreading and memory management efficiently. Expertise in error handling and caching strategies. Experience in optimizing apps through memory profiling and performance tuning. Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML. Experience with Git, SourceTree, and CI/CD tools like Azure or Jenkins. Familiarity with creating SDKs and frameworks. Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
Pay rate:
