Our client, a large defense contractor, has animmediate opening for a Embedded Software Engineer with an activeDOD Secret Clearance to work from their Taunton, MA facility. As anEmbedded Software Engineer, working with custom Hardware builtin-house, for our Cyber group, you’ll be a member of a crossfunctional team responsible for developing mission criticalNSA-certified Cybersecurity devices in a rapidly growing productline. You’ll be working at the cutting edge of Cybersecurity andhigh-speed data. We encourage you to apply if you have any of thesepreferred skills or experiences:

Real-Time multi-threaded Embeddedsoftware, preferably on Linux OS. Model-based development,preferably Rhapsody. Extensive experience with Object Orienteddesign and programming, preferably in UML and C++. Long developmentlifecycle and product lifespans, requiring maintenance and regulartechnology refresh. ARM virtualization extensions, preferablyHypervisor.

Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree inSoftware Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering orMathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience,or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agileexperience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Department of DefenseSECRET security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicantsselected will be subject to a U.S. Government securityinvestigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access toclassified information. Due to the nature of work performed withinour facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
