W2 Contract Our client in the Springfield, MA area is looking for along-term Java Software developer to join their team. In this role youwill contribute to a high priority AWS cloud migration project utilizingTerraform and GitOps while working closely with the infrastructureengineering team. This is a long-term contract opportunity if successfulin the position.

Required experience:

Bachelor’s degree in softwareengineering or computer science Experience with AWS, Terraform,Typescript, Playwright, and familiarity with React Advanced expertise inJava programming experience Hands-on experience with Spring Bootframework Proficient in Maven build configuration, management, andexecution Familiar with JUnit testing and generating code coveragereports Skilled in working with the latest JDK versions (e.g., JDK 17and 21) Strong experience using Maven repositories for managing pluginsand dependencies Database knowledge, including PostgreSQL and OracleComfortable working with IntelliJ IDEA and its range of plugins andfeatures Proficient in Git for version control and repository managementCapable of managing multiple projects with independent Maven buildsExperienced in using JIRA scrum boards for efficient task management Inthis role you must be comfortable working within a collaborativeenvironment with integrated code reviews
