Senior C++ QT Software Engineer – Med Device
Our client, a leading innovator in the medical device industry, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in C++, Qt, and image processing/computer vision. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced diagnostic and imaging solutions that have a real impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++ and the Qt framework
Implement and optimize algorithms for image processing and computer vision
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (hardware, systems, QA)
Contribute to software architecture and design discussions
Ensure software complies with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., FDA, IEC 62304)
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional software development experience in C++
Strong experience with Qt for GUI and application development
Hands-on experience with image processing and/or computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV)
Familiarity with medical device development or regulated environments is strongly preferred
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
