Dedham, MA Contract Position Pay Estimated:
$69.21-$74.21/Hour This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.) We are actively seeking a Python Developer for our Secure Network and Voice Product Development Team. This position is critical for advancing our automated testing capabilities, requiring collaboration within an agile team to convert operational concepts into practical designs and implementations. The role entails transforming existing design and new specifications into design, coding, and conducting testing and debugging.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions as part of an agile development team Develop robust test automation within a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) framework using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab Collaborate with software developers to incorporate test automation early in the development lifecycle and maintain coverage as code evolves Translate operational requirements and specifications into scalable test designs, supporting full software development lifecycle Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize test code for reliability and performance Actively participate in team retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in test automation and software
QA Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required by federal law Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience required (Or Master’s degree and 3 years of experience) Strong proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting Experience with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins or GitLab Proficiency in IDE tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), defect tracking, and scripting environments Proven experience turning concepts, specifications, or requirements into reliable and maintainable test code Demonstrated skills in debugging and validating software in automated test environments Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative development practices Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
