Job Description:

Ourclient, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for aRUST Embedded Software Engineer to work from their Dedham, MAfacility. As a RUST Embedded Software Engineer, working with customHardware built in-house, for our Cyber group, you’ll be a member ofa cross functional team responsible for developing mission criticalNSA-certified Cybersecurity devices in a rapidly growing productline. You’ll be working at the cutting edge of Cybersecurity andhigh-speed data.

Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree inSoftware Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering orMathematics field. Also requires 10 years of job-relatedexperience, or a Master’s degree plus 8 years of job-relatedexperience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at timeof hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Governmentsecurity investigation and must meet eligibility requirements foraccess to classified information. Due to the nature of workperformed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Weencourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills orexperiences:

Actual experience working in the RUST developmentlanguage Real-Time multi-threaded Embedded software, preferably onLinux OS. Model-based development, preferably Rhapsody. Extensiveexperience with Object Oriented design and programming, preferablyin UML and RUST. Familiarity with C and C++ Long developmentlifecycle and product lifespans, requiring maintenance and regulartechnology refresh. ARM virtualization extensions, preferablyHypervisor.

Hypervisor Technology Linux Rhapsody UMLDevice drivers What sets you apart: Passion for designingcomplicated systems and working on problems of diverse scope.

Ability to define the scope, schedule, and expectations for thework you execute. Shows initiative on assignments and executesprojects with little guidance and can provide technical directionand leadership. Ability to turn CONOPS, Specifications orRequirements into software design, code, test plans, and thenexecute testing/debugging. Proficiency with software toolssupporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), versioncontrol, defect tracking, and scripting.
