Job Description
Cash Applications Analyst Fuel Supplier Brockton, MA 02305 A well-known fuel supplier is seeking to hire a Cash Applications Analyst. This position will join a cash applications team of 12 that is responsible for the cash applications of over 50k vendor accounts nationwide. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently applying customer payments to their accounts, ensuring proper reconciliation of receivables, and resolving any discrepancies. The ideal candidate has earned their B.S. in a relevant field, possesses strong computer skills, and is proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot tables, data manipulation, etc.) . You will be utilizing Great Plains software so previous experience is highly preferred, but not required. Duties Analyze user requirements and develop application specifications to enhance system functionality. Collaborate with IT teams to design, develop, and implement APIs for integration with existing systems. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Conduct testing and validation of applications to ensure they meet quality standards before deployment. Maintain documentation for application processes, configurations, and updates. Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. Monitor application performance and recommend improvements based on user feedback and system metrics. Skills Proficiency in Computer Science principles and practices. Experience working with APIs for system integration. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and familiarity with Linux environments. Understanding of cloud services such as AWS and Azure. Familiarity with DevOps practices to streamline application deployment and maintenance. Ability to work within Agile frameworks to deliver projects efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. AFTP123
