Role will need to be in the office at least 3 days aweek The Actuary Platform Developer role partners with the Actuaryteam, IT data team and primary vendor to provide data development,support, and administration for the Actuarial Modeling/DataManagement Platform. This position will be accountable for managingthe data lifecycle and development throughout the ActuarialModeling process. New Requests/Builds Collaborate with ActuaryModel Development to support any data needs for models Collaboratewith Actuary Valuation to support model analytics and approvalworkflow Define backlog items and requirements for IT Data team andother supporting IT areas Participate in testing and verificationof technical solutions General Support Become a subject matterexpert in Actuarial Modeling Platform Data Management capabilitiesIs primary administrator of Actuarial Modeling Platform andappropriately manages required administrative tasks if neededResponsible for the regular maintenance, updates, fixes andupgrades. This could include testing after upgrade or facilitatingUAT Ensures platform is running at optimal performance and levelsMaintain application run books to ensure appropriate documentationexists Provide training to new and existing users on current andfuture functionality Production Process Manage and facilitate allincidents from Priority 1 to Priority 4, which includes, but notlimited to, providing support to users of applications, respondingto user-based questions, tickets and assists with troubleshootingissues within platform. Manage day-to-day operational and tacticalaspects of multiple projects or requests Provides on-callassistance as requested, for after-hours issues and support needsResolve incidents if able to, otherwise escalate as needed (providetier-2 incident response)
