POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide technology-enabled solutions to address complex business problems. Apply technical knowledge, capabilities, and development skills to design and build efficient solutions to enable business strategies. Work closely with other information technologists to produce high-quality, IT-enabled applications, products and services. Responsible for the overall technical implementation of applications, and frequently interact with internal and external partners, onshore and offshore staff.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU MAY

Interpret simple to complex technical designs and create technical specifications or oversee the creation of technical specifications. Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, enhance and document components Assist Project Manager in project coordination Provide technical direction for the development team Create and coordinate the developer tasks and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Be responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project. Communicate and enforce coding standards Work with technical leadership to perform evaluations and feasibility reviews of creative concepts and technology solutions. Work closely with quality assurance resources to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly assigned, fixed, and regressed Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships Keep project managers well informed of status of development effort. Easily recognize system deficiencies and implements effective solutions. Promote code and support setup of multiple test environments. Drive collaboration between project team members, including external and offshore resources, during development process. Contribute to technical approach and design. Provide subject matter expertise to individuals and projects Troubleshoot problems across domains and integration points. Drive process improvements efforts Foster and encourage an environment that practices calculated risk taking

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or the future (ie. Green card holder or US Citizen) 7+ years of experience developing web-based Java/J2EE applications Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design and methodologies JavaScript, AngularJS, React, AJAX, JQuery, CSS and HTML5. Industry Certifications are a plus Experience with devops tools. 5+ years of experience designing, building, and implementing Business Process Management solutions on one or more technology platforms. 5+ years of work experience with Pega RULES Process Commander (PRPC) Version 8 and beyond. Experience programming and troubleshooting RESTful web service API’s. Experience fixing guard-rail scores in Pega based apps. Knowledge of system integration architecture using publish and subscribe pattern. Experience migrating application to different Pega versions. Experience developing SQL Queries. Awareness of data security principles and best practices, including access control, data encryption, and privacy regulations. Experience migrating Pega apps from on-premise to private Cloud will be plus Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Ability to analyze and creatively solve complex problems Ability to effectively prioritize, lead, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Initiative, adaptive, and willingness to learn Understands how to tactfully communicate difficult/sensitive information. Ability to elicit cooperation from a variety of sources Ability to juggle multiple projects/customers simultaneously. Versatile; comfortable performing a variety of roles and tasks within the company Strong written and oral communication skills Thrives on learning and learns quickly.
