Come work with us and let’s build something great together! S3, Inc. is seeking a Senior Point Developer to support efforts in Arlington, VA. This position is contingent on award of contract. Military experience is a plus. This is not a teleworking position. The Senior Point Developer will supports the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation (DASA-DEC) under the Consolidated Security Cooperation Requirements Contract (CSCRC).
Responsibilities:
Supporting government personnel in building and deploying intranet and extranet and document. Managing sites on Point and other website environments (requires familiarity and experience with multiple programming languages such as: HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, WordPress, etc.). Provide recommendations to Director of Operations and the Chief Data Officer regarding information architectures, taxonomies, and workflows. Identifying and documenting user requirements for website usability. Preparing technical requirements; designing and developing page templates and prototypes. Planning and implementing webpage additions and enhancements. Supporting and assisting Government personnel in maintaining Point and website environments through the posting and management of content, pages, lists, libraries, along with design, testing, and implementation of web-based “out-of•the-box” and required “custom” solutions. Support and troubleshoot client-facing and public•facing issues with Point and website, workflow tools and escalate as appropriate to resolve issues. Make recommendations regarding design, graphics, features, and functionality to enhance and improve the user experience. Provide Point training to
DASA-DEC
staff. Acts as the main point of contact for Point and Office 365 requirements. Maintains and updates MS Point tools and applications to include all administrative responsibilities. Utilizes and updates various Office 365 applications to include Power BI. Continues to develop Point Online based solutions by gathering requirements and information needs. Provides recommendations and support the implementation of improvements/efficiencies within the Point Online environment.
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and eight (8) years’ of experience. Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. Preferred certifications which are not required but will be given more favorable consideration include: Microsoft 365
Certified:
Teams Administrator Associate, or Microsoft 365
Certified:
Enterprise Administrator. Have experience with multiple programming languages such as: HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery and WordPress.
