The ideal person will ensure technology decisions are well thought out and understood at all levels. They will ensure software solutions align with engineering best practices and one or more teams can execute effectively addressing solution and technological roadblocks. The Solutions Architect will assist with thought leadership to consider the entire IPFS ecosystem of capabilities when involved to help devise solutions and identify which can be reused, augmented, or new capabilities that need to be built based on “fit for service” criteria. They will feed the Enterprise Architecture team with high level design inputs for diagramming and capturing for ARB reviews. This Solutions Architect will be involved in complicated and difficult coding projects, primarily on cloud-based systems and provide guidance to Engineers in their work including pull request reviews. Key Responsibilities Work with and listen to business analysts and product management to frame the business problem and opportunity. Interpret and manipulate complex problem statements into their simplest most robust solution. Author architectural artifacts for communicating to all stakeholders at every level. Work closely with one or more development teams to execute on design. Support the Quality Assurance team to ensure solutions meet business objectives Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work at an Enterprise Level as well as dig in with application design Self Starter / require minimal direction Strong Communication (will be partnering with Product, Business, Engineering, etc) Development experience (.NET) [need development experience, but must have system design experience] Solution Design (Enterprise and Application) Need Azure expertise; functions, app services, Front Door / APIM, Containers Ability to build design frameworks that can be handed off to development teams Understanding of 3rd party / vendor integrations Experience working in multiple SDLC frameworks (Agile, Kanban, etc…) Architectural artifact creation (at Enterprise level and technical detail level) Software Versioning / Tech Debt tackling
