Overview:
We are seeking Embedded Software Engineers (Levels 2-4) to join a Mission Systems Software Team in Berkeley, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced defense projects in a collaborative, agile environment. You will design, implement, and test real-time embedded software systems throughout the software development lifecycle and contribute to a modern CI/CD DevSecOps pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, debug, and maintain embedded software systems that meet regulatory, customer, and industry standards
- Analyze and translate customer requirements into effective software solutions
- Write and integrate software code tailored for specialized embedded hardware platforms
- Contribute to hardware/software integration efforts
- Monitor and optimize embedded system performance and stability
- Conduct unit, integration, and system-level testing with a focus on automation
- Support and implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., DevSecOps)
- Participate in performance tracking for internal and external software teams
- Contribute to project planning and embedded software management functions Basic Qualifications (Required):
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience with C++ and/or Linux OS
- Hands-on experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Associate (Level 2):
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field and 2+ years of experience. Master’s degree with relevant experience may be considered. - Experienced (Level 3):
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience, or Master’s + 3 years, or PhD - Senior (Level 4):
Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of experience, or Master’s + 7 years, or PhD + 4 years
