Job Description
Division Steel Dynamics Overview Assist Inside and Outside Sales, Technical Liaison between Automotive OEM’s and Mill Operations/Metallurgy Responsibilities Assist Inside and Outside Sales Manage Automotive Presource orders Use statistical tools to evaluate automotive performance Assist with Product development and Product Optimization projects Manage automotive IMDS and PPAP submissions Manage corrective actions and metallurgical lab reports for automotive quality issues Participate and assist with OEM audits and Processor audits Perform automotive part thickness strain and FLD analysis Routine participation in OEM product development and technical service/quality meetings. Qualifications Required B. S. in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 5 years experience in a metallurgical or automotive technical role Strong safety awareness Good communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic) Proven analytical and problem solving skills Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently without direct supervision Quality and detail-oriented Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
