This position reports to Project Operations Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will apply your software engineering skills to design, develop, test and deploy cutting-edge web applications. Your contributions will be vital in developing web applications to support production lines. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and prototyping to coding and maintenance, ensuring that we deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business needs. Your contributions will drive efficiency and innovation in our production processes. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of professionals committed to excellence. The work model for the role is: #LI – Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division in Senatobia, MS. You will be mainly accountable to:

  • Independently contribute to the software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, conceptualization, prototyping, design, coding, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance and operations.
  • Monitor existing applications and systems in production to promptly detect and resolve issues. Respond to and troubleshoot incidents and outages to minimize service disruptions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for support procedures, system configurations, and incident resolutions. Identify and categorize various user personas for the platform and applications, tailoring the user experience, interface, navigation, and workflows to meet their specific roles and needs.
  • Embrace agile software development methodologies to build and deliver software in an iterative and incremental fashion. Implement automation in all feasible activities to enhance productivity. Stay informed about emerging software engineering technologies and trends.
  • Utilize software architecture and design patterns in development to improve software metrics related to modularity, such as coupling and cohesion.
