Summary:

The Combat Capability Developer will support the development and management of JCIDS documentation for “Soldier” capabilities. This includes various assessments, analyses, and documentation to enhance Army programs and respond to future technology needs.

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:

Support the development, writing, staffing, and adjudication of “Soldier” Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documentation to include Capabilities Based Assessment (CBAs), Initial Capabilities Document (ICDs), Cost Benefit Analysis (C-BAs), Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Architecture Products, Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) Change Recommendations (DCRs), Capability Development Document (CDDs), CDD Upgrades, and Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment Production Documents (OCIEPDs). Provide management of individual programs supported within each program area, writing support, and subject matter expertise to facilitate the programs and systems supported within the program area. Provide support for the Army and respond to information requests for various teams and future technologies. Assist with other capability development, doctrine, training, and architecture development tasks including the preparation of draft tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), threat assessments, development and execution of training plans, and Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP) for the Purchase Order Requests (PoRs). Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the different assigned PoR’s supporting the Army and Program Executive Offices (PEO).

Qualifications:
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Knowledge of the current threat environments, current capabilities, mobility, tactical operations, and survivability in all weather and terrain environments. Knowledge of situational awareness of the military’s historic, current, and future warfighter systems supporting the Army.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Minimum 4 years of experience as a Combat Capability Developer Secret clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
