Job Description:

Are you experienced in endpoint systems management and ready to lead enterprise-level IT solutions at a large university? Iowa State University is seeking a Systems Analyst III to join the Information Technology Services (ITS) Endpoint Services team. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical infrastructure projects and provide high-level support to IT staff across campus. What you’ll do: Manage and maintain endpoint devices—including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android—across platforms such as MECM, Jamf, and Intune. Lead and support infrastructure components such as WSUS, MBAM, Papercut, and Microsoft Defender. Facilitate large-scale projects, including the implementation of Windows device administration within Intune in a comanaged configuration. Implement and maintain APIs and tools to improve inter-system integration and ensure interoperability across endpoint systems. Serve as a senior technical escalation point for campus IT administrators and peers, providing mentorship and troubleshooting expertise. This position works closely with central and distributed IT staff and plays a key role in ensuring secure, scalable, and user-friendly endpoint experiences for the university community.
