- 4-5+ years of recent Java web development experience
- Experience building apps with Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat
- Experience creating RESTful webservices
- Experience making web pages using HTML/CSS/Javascript and RESTfulbackend services
- Experience with SCM using various Git workflows (forking,gitflow, etc.)
- Experience using continuous build software (Jenkins, Bamboo,etc.)
- Experience with SQL-based databases
- Experience developing with basic IoC patterns
- Fluency in Unix/Linux operating systems and Bash
- Basic understanding of networking
- Can identify basic scalability pitfalls
- Learns new things quickly
- Knows how to deal with non-standard versions of standardtools Desired
- Experience building a SPA with AngularJS and Bootstrap
- Experience with Spring MVC/Spring Data JPA
- Experience at running a Jenkins, Artifactory, or SonarQubeserver
- Experience using or running OpenStack
