The Position As anExtended Reality (XR) Developer the key mission is to redefine ourmanufacturing approach by creating a fully data driven andcontinuous process for oral tablet formulation and optimize themanufacturing production and analysis from end to end. Bydeveloping sustainable and scalable XR applications usingindustry-standard tools and frameworks, while being GxP and Non-GxPvalid and best in class for XR training and spatial learning; thisposition will be a key player to create a new paradigm that willalter the approach to drug development by redesigning anddigitalizing the processes. Relationships Manager. EssentialFunctions Work closely with Product Owners from NT&XR and otherstakeholders to translate training specifications into code Enablesustainable and scalable integration of XR assets by using softwareoffering long term support for multiple XR platforms and iscompatible with software used by XR Developer teams across theorganization Responsible for designing together with stakeholdersand testers, verification, and release of XR applications Subjectmatter expertise in the usage and functionality of the XRapplications Troubleshoot code (defect & incident handling),propose solution & undertake re-testing both manually andprogrammatically Continuously improve on standards and processesrelated to development of XR solutions Remain in touch with XRteams across Novo and outside of Novo Collaborate iteratively withstakeholders to design and implement engaging XR applications whichwill require working closely with cross-functional teams, includingoperators, engineers, and product managers, to ensure seamlessintegration of XR technology by guiding the design andimplementation phases as an XR Developer Troubleshoot and resolveissues related to XR application development and deploymentDocument and test XR solutions to ensure the performance andfunctionality are up to quality standards Follow all safety &environmental requirements in the performance of duties Otherduties as assigned Physical Requirements Ability to work in an openoffice environment with the possibility of frequent distraction.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. % can change on acase-by-case basis based on the role. Qualifications Bachelor’sdegree in computer science, information technology, game design orrelated field from an accredited university required, Master’sdegree preferred Minimum of three (3) years of experience inprofessional software development, demonstrating the ability toconcept, prototype, design, code, and engineer a variety ofvisualizations that can be used on mobile, desktop or VR platformsrequired Experience with VR/AR development in Unity or otherrelevant software for the leading VR/AR headsets required Strongmindset to develop highly reliant solutions that support continuousdeployment and maintenance preferred Experience with applyingtechnology in innovative solutions to solve business challengespreferred Ability to handle technological innovation and highcomplexity required Ability to conduct performance and usabilitytests with industry standard tools, and document gained dataappropriately required Good understanding in transforming businessrequirements to an easy to use and customer centric user interfacerequired Ability to balance degree of initiative versus committableresources in a reliable manner ensuring project timelines anddeliverables required High flexibility and change readinesspreferred Ability to manage intricate tasks with minimal or noestablished protocols in place required Strong businessunderstanding a plus Strong strategic and innovative mindset a plusBasic infrastructure (especially in cloud) knowledge preferredStrong communication skills required Strong analytical anddevelopment skills including a thorough understanding of how tointerpret customer business needs and translating into applicationand operational requirements required We commit to an inclusiverecruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our jobapplicants.
