Position Description
ENSCO Avionics is looking for a talented Verification Engineer. Your responsibilities will include providing oversight of the DO-178C verification progress conducted by an offshore team. You will also be expected to support the lead SW Engineer by performing tasks as needed to integrate and test new software deliveries and author document deliverables. This role does not require strong coding skills but will require knowledge of standard C code to support reviews and troubleshooting of software. DO-178C working experience is essential.

Qualifications Required (Skills)
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Equivalent
3+ years of hands-on experience with DO-178C
2+ years of experience using DOORS or a similar requirement management tool
Experience with Electrical Hardware design and integration
Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environment
Ability to work independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of professionalism, work ethic, and attention to quality
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Qualifications Desired
Familiarity with Texas Instruments’ Code Composer Studio
Familiarity with Texas Instruments’ SM320F28335
Familiarity with
ARINC 429
Familiarity with I2C, SPI, and JTAG
Familiarity with motor controls
Familiarity with Permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSMs) and Brushless DC machines (BLDCs)
Familiarity with Python
Familiarity of Electronics and Motor Control
Operating Systems:
Knowledge of Linux, Windows, or macOS.
Testing and Debugging:
Strong skills in writing unit tests, integration tests, and debugging code.
