DescriptionReporting into the Vp of Construction, The Lead Superintendent willbe responsible for: Supervise the daily construction activities andquality control of all subcontractors. Supervise the coordinationof field efforts between trades to achieve a timely and profitablecompletion in strict accordance with contract documents andspecifications, law and safety requirements. Effectivelycommunicate relevant project information to superiors. Attendweekly subcontractor and owner/architect meetings. Monitor sitesafety protocols. Track manpower and complete daily reports. Assistwith quality control oversight. Assist with field office documentcontrol. Assist with creating look-ahead schedules. Monitor andtrack site deliveries. Verify all materials, equipment, andinstallation are in compliance with approved submittals andcontract documents. Profile The successful Lead Superintendent willhave the following experience: 8 years of construction experience(non negotiable). Experience in large ground up commercial projectsKnowledge of scheduling, estimating, and cost principles. Basicknowledge of project management Software A mature professional withexcellent judgment. A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated andresults-oriented individual. Exceptional communication skills(written and verbal) and intuitive interpersonal skills.
