About the
Role:
We are seeking a skilled Appian Developer to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our Digital Process Automation team, you will design, develop, and implement business applications using the Appian BPM platform. This is a hybrid role requiring a balance of remote work and onsite collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain business process management (BPM) applications using Appian 21.x/22.x or higher
.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and Appian solutions.
Develop records, interfaces, SAIL forms, process models, and integrations.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Work closely with QA and DevOps teams for testing and deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience developing with Appian BPM
.
Proficiency in Appian low-code development tools including SAIL, Process Modeler, and Records.
Experience integrating Appian with external systems using Web APIs (REST/SOAP).
Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and writing SQL queries.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Appian Level 1 or Level 2 Certification preferred.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to
Have:
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Familiarity with Appian RPA or Appian AI features.
