Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards and reports
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data solutions meet business needs
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Optimize and maintain existing Tableau dashboards
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and visualizations
Stay updated with Tableau best practices and new features

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Tableau Desktop Developer
Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and data visualization best practices
Solid understanding of SQL, data querying, and fundamentals of data modeling
Experience with data preparation and ETL processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strongmunication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
Desired skills:
Experience with industry BI/Reporting toolsets including Tableau, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Qlik
Experience with connecting to Hadoop, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Netezza, Teradata, and SQL databases
Experience with Data Science integration and application (Python, R)
Experience with ETL tools (Trifecta, Alteryx, SSIS, Informatica)
Experience with programming languages (Python, APIs, Web Data Connectors, Tableau Extensions, JavaScript)
Experience with Financial services data and large data volumes
