Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Architect to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for defining architectural visions and solutions that align with strategic business goals, particularly in the areas of network automation and technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing robust architecture that enhances operational efficiency and resilience. This is a full-time position, and while the role is based in our main office, remote work options may be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Define the architectural vision and solution intent that supports the strategic outcomes of the organization’s products and services. Design and implement complex architectures across business, operations, and technology to facilitate the creation of a cohesive technology environment. Lead the prioritization of functional and non-functional requirements to shape the technology roadmap and support evolving business capabilities. Collaborate with stakeholders and service providers to assess the impact of strategic design decisions and contribute to the development of an architectural roadmap. Provide guidance on system design to support implementation efforts and offer solutions to overcome architectural challenges. Conduct design and code reviews to ensure architecture meets all non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and scalability. Engage in knowledge sharing and best practice development within the team to foster an innovative and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on network automation. Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects. Strong understanding of software and data design patterns, and the ability to apply these in a large enterprise setting. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to engage in process management and collaborative team efforts. Advanced knowledge in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications and custom integration solutions. Experience with network modeling standards such as YAML, YANG, JINJA, or similar. Proficient in systems modeling and design with a strong grasp of networking concepts and controller-based network architectures. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and team members.
Desirable:
MS or BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
