Role Purpose Reporting to the Service Owner ofCollaboration, the Collaboration Engineer is a senior technologyleader that will function as SME for collaboration technologies,with an emphasis on Microsoft Office 365. This role will functionas an enabler across IT Architecture, Engineering, Operations,Information Security, Data Privacy, Strategic partners, Technologyvendors and Project management teams to facilitate the successfuldelivery of complex Corning initiatives and priorities.

Responsibility will include strategy, design and implementationefforts to enable Corning’s Collaboration services includingExchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Apps,Power Automate etc. Responsibility will also include enablingprocess and technology readiness, critical to support globalmigration and enablement of M365 services. As a core member of thecollaboration services, this person will be responsible for helpingdirect and guide the delivery of key priorities across multiplestakeholders, with the assistance of the Project Manager andTechnical Support teams. While being predominantly internallyfocused, this position will require strong communication to bridgebetween various Information Security, Data Privacy, Infrastructureand Application teams as well as an excellent ability to navigatewithin a background of relative ambiguity. Key ResponsibilitiesEngineer cloud solutions for user collaboration using OneDrive,SharePoint Online, MS Teams, and other O365 solutions Assesson-prem implementations of SharePoint and provide technical adviceand consultation to develop a migration plan Assist in developing amigration strategy including selection of required tools Design andconfigure SharePoint online environment and related toolsets Createand integrate automated governance solutions to enforce usagepolicies and make it easy to provision, consume and manage ourservices Plan, design and execute migration of on-premise HomeDrives, SharePoint sites and other content to M365 Integrate cloudand on-premise solutions to provide a unified hybrid userexperience as needed Provide escalated support for migrationrelated technical issues and other business-critical incidents andproblems. Must possess a strong attention to detail, and a sense ofurgency to resolve critical technical issues Work in differentroles across the solution lifecycle (requirements analysis, design,integration, development, testing, support, etc.) and assist withprojects driven by business and service line demand, monitor systemperformance, provide technical support and guidance to otheradministrators. Maintain platform security by actively identifyingand remediating faults and vulnerable areas within the system’sdesign and architecture in a timely fashion Establishes standards,policies & guidelines for the Collaboration Platform incollaboration with service line owner and technology teamsExperiences/Education – Required Bachelor’s degree in InformationTechnology, Computer Science, Information Management Systems,Computer Engineering or an equivalent technical degree Microsoftcertifications SharePoint Online 5 years of experience withSharePoint Online including successfully migrating large on-premimplementations to online. 7 years of experience in systemadministration, with a focus on Exchange, Teams, Skype and othermessaging or chat tools 7 years of experience in a production ITenvironment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware,hosting services and cloud infrastructure. Deep understanding ofMicrosoft Active Directory, SharePoint Online, Exchange on-premiseand Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook Client,Intune, Azure AD Conditional Access, F5 load balancing and relatedconcepts, ability to problem solve and troubleshoot. Wellexperienced in Microsoft 365 tenant administration. Strongunderstanding of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016 environmentsand the underlying technologies Experiences/Education – DesiredArchitecture skills, ability to think conceptually Experience withcreating and maintaining application and infrastructure services.

Project management skills Experience with ID Access Managertechnologies like NetIQ, Okta etc. Strong understanding of CloudAccess Security Brokers (CASB), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), MobileDevice Management (MDM) concepts and tools Strong understanding ofIdentity and Access Management concepts (IDAM) This position doesnot support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is$108,814.00 – $149,620.00 assuming full time status. Starting payfor the successful applicant is dependent on a variety ofjob-related factors, including but not limited to geographiclocation, market demands, experience, training, and education. Thebenefits available for this position are dependent on hours workedand may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan,life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
